Hello, nice to meet you!

I'm Thorben from Germany, and I'm currently in Japan on a Working Holiday Visa. My plan is to explore the country while working here to support my travels (and, of course, to pay the bills too 😄).

I recently started learning Japanese, and I'd love to find someone I can practice with. If you happen to speak English as well, that would be a nice bonus, but it's definitely not a requirement. My main goal is simply to improve through real conversations.

I'm an easygoing and open-minded person. I enjoy being spontaneous, meeting new people, and experiencing different cultures.

I'd also be happy to help you practice German or English. I have to admit I'm not the best at explaining grammar, I mostly speak by instinct, but I can definitely help with conversation, vocabulary, pronunciation, and spelling.

I'd love to experience everyday life in a Japanese family, learn more about the culture, and hopefully build a genuine friendship along the way. For me, I think a homestay can be much more than just having a place to sleep, it's about sharing experiences and learning from each other.
